MY Experience

Throughout my professional journey, I have gained valuable experience in various domains, each contributing to my holistic approach as a psychologist.

I am a registered psychologist (n. 27195) affiliated with the Association of Psychologists in Italy. With a background in Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from La Sapienza University of Rome.  Furthermore, I expanded my therapeutic repertoire by completing a specialisation in Gestalt Therapy in Florence (IGF) with phenomenological-existential approach and Art Therapy at the East European Institute (EEAT).

I dedicated my time to assisting immigrants and refugees as part of Social Cooperatives and the Red Cross, helping individuals to rebuild their lives and find an equilibrium. By providing support in finding a new accommodation, facilitating professional formation, and offering guidance for psychological adaptation to the new culture.

In my scientific study on the “Benefits of Mindfulness on Well-being,” I explored the neurological positive changes of mindfulness practices on individuals’ suffering from anxiety, depression and sleep problems. Then I led Mindfulness meditation sessions within a group setting at the Gestalt Institute in Rome.  By introducing participants to the practice of meditation, observing their emotions and automatic reactions and accepting these mental patterns, in the end these sessions fostered a peaceful and  pure state of mind,  better understanding of one’s own  nature  and  promoting  personal growth and well-being.

I gained professional experience during an internship in “People and Organization” at the  international company  Enel, where I assumed responsibility for analysing the psychological dynamics in the team, scheduling business activities and organising well-being  events with the scope to help the managers to level up their competencies.. This experience provided me with valuable insights into the dynamics of a corporate environment and the importance of fostering employee well-being.

I take pride in organising intercultural seminars centred around psychophysical well-being based on Oriental practices and Medicine. By bringing together different cultures and promoting antique practices that enhance both physical and mental health, provide new visions and techniques to cope with a huge range of diseases.
